Total Lifting Solutions’ range of scissor lifts offers flexible parking and storage solutions for residential driveways.

Our unique driveway to basement scissor lifts enables end-users to transport their vehicles from the driveway into basement with ease. Single scissor car lifts are designed for pit installation and use a scissor mechanism to raise a vehicle from basement level to the driveway, or vice versa at the touch of a button. A scissor mechanism delivers a smooth transition between floors with precise positioning. Our bespoke car lifts can be designed to enable the driver to remain in the vehicle whilst the lift is in motion known as “Person-On-Board”.

All our scissor car lifts employ a self-supporting platform with its own roof cover offering the ability to park cars on the lift roof. However, when raising the car lift from basement level, the roof must be clear. End-users wishing to keep cars parked on the car lift roof whilst raising a second vehicle out of the basement will need a scissor lift with a load bearing roof.

Our single scissor car lifts enable cars to move between floors and only requires a maximum pit depth of 550mm to house the scissor mechanism. For end-user requiring extended travel abilities a double scissor car lift can be installed, requiring a maximum pit depth of 950mm.
